Composed in one of Cassidy’s musical stylings he calls Heavy Groove, "The Reverie Within The Sound" is an instrumental suite meant to convey some of the many feelings experienced within life that words cannot express. The rich rhythms of the drums and bass compliment the colors and tones of the baritone guitar in a full sounding groovy context.

Cassidy's production style on The Reverie Within The Sound captures that feeling a person gets when the music hits just right at a live music event. Through recording each instrument straight through from beginning to end in a single take he was able to achieve a fresh, live-band sound. Cassidy says, “intuitive expression and improvisation play a key role in the performance of each part.”
